Current Projects

We are involved in a number of projects around the subject of talent development and work with a number of partners. Here are just a couple of examples.

The adaptability index
As part of a Europe-wide project we have developed a tool to help organisations and those who work in them to work out the extent to which they are able to adapt to change. This project was funded by the EU through their Article 6 programme and the project is being managed by Exemplas who are also our partners in the delivery of The Talent Key.

This involves analysis of how organisations:
  • liberate human potential
  • motivate staff
  • manage performance
  • support work-life balance
  • retain and reward people
  • deal with succession planning

New kinds of smart
Funded by Edge and the ESRC, we have developed a new way of looking at intelligence. Supported by an expert panel (including Professor Guy Claxton, Professor Eugene Sadler-Smith, Professor Louise Stoll and Sir Christopher Ball) and drawing on existing research from across the world, we have developed a new model to broaden current understanding of what it is to be smart today.
New kinds of smart

This new model is set out in a report called New Kinds of Smart – Emerging thinking about what it means to be intelligent today.
