Lynne Sedgemore
Lynne Sedgmore has recently been appointed as the executive director of the 157 Group of large, successful colleges. Previously she was the founding Chief Executive of the highly regarded Centre for Excellence in Leadership (CEL). Created in October 2003 to improve the standards of leadership in those who work in vocational education, Lynne developed a dynamic and entrepreneurial organisation winning the support of the sector for the quality of its thinking and services. Previously Lynne was Principal of Guildford College. Lynne is in demand as a speaker and adviser at the highest level of government. She was recently honoured with an International Spirit at Work Award for her work at CEL. Lynne became a director of The Talent Foundation in January 2008.
