We are a small organisation with a large network of
supporters. We are involved in small-scale research
projects which are relevant and seem likely to produce
results.
We have chosen to focus on the development of talent
in the workplace because there are few other
organisations whose interests lie here.
Self-development, family learning, hobbies, sports, arts
– there are many organisations which support these.
But, as most people have to work, it must be
important to create an environment in which they can
thrive and grow if society is to flourish.
We seek to encourage new ways of working which will
increase the likelihood of talent being fulfilled in the
workplace. There tend to be three dimensions to our work
– individuals, teams and whole organisations of all
kinds.
We are looking for
- big ideas
- smaller insights, and
- very practical suggestions.
How do we do it?
We use these methods:
- Research
- Publications
- Tools
- Networking
- Projects.
Often one thing leads to another. We do some
research, publish something, develop a new tool and then
seek to share what we have learned as far as
possible.
Research
Previous areas of exploration have included:
- How teams learn
- Innovation
- Motivation to learn.
